Suffering Is Temporary

Suffering is all a part of this life we live. We cannot escape it. There is no avoiding this life without pain. We were not promised a life without pain. instead, we are to look towards Jesus for our peace and salvation.

In Romans 8:18 the Bible states, For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

I know many of us are drowning in our sufferings. Life is unbearable and even a struggle to survive. Our hearts are hurting, bleeding, and tired. The treacherous trails we have walked has lead to our sufferings. It’s like finding that secret door in a maze that will never exist.

But, we cannot let our minds meet our suffering for good. God gave us breath to live. Even if our lives are cut short. There is purpose.

I would also remind you that to always be grateful. Stop complaining about things that do not matter.

“Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.” -James 5:9

There is so much to be thankful for. Don’t let that moment of pain and suffering steal the joy.

I have so much more to say, but I’ll leave you with this: ”Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.“

-James 1:2-4
