The planting and The Cup

Lets think of this above as your cup. You drink out of it everyday with liquids like coffee, tea, water, etc. The rock in this picture is the seed that you plant everyday in your everyday cup you drink. When you drink things like coffee, you sometimes like putting things in your coffee as in creamer or sugar. Once you put those things in our drink, you need to use something to stir. The stick that is in the picture above is being used to stir the contents of our drink. The seed that is in the drink is now being mixed in your cup.

Take a look at the picture below. This is what happens when you are stirring the cup you drink.

The cup you drink everyday is being spread and the water seems murky because you thought the seed that has been planted would be clearer now. Did you not think that this seed is being processed everyday, and being used everyday? The water may seem bleak. The cup may not seem like it is working for your good. But when you trust that the Holy Spirit that lives within you has planted the seed, then you be assured that this will not waste away. God is stirring inside of us. He knows what the outcome is. The cup you drink everyday is giving you life. Jesus is the life giver. The liquid is becoming clearer. Your seed is spreading within you. The roots are growing deep. Your cup is beginning to overflow. Trust Him. He knows what He is doing.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (MSG)

“I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don’t go back until they’ve watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They’ll do the work I sent them to do, they’ll complete the assignment I gave them."

Romans 15:13-15 (TPT)

"Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!"
